Summer 2015 LA Fashion Market

Summer 2015 LA Fashion Market will take place at the California Market Center (CMC) from Sunday, January 11, 2015- Wednesday, January 14, 2015. CMC showrooms featuring apparel, accessories, lifestyle, LA Kids Market and more will be open beginning, Sunday January 11. Tradeshows featured at LA Fashion Market will open Monday, January 12, 2015 at SELECT Better Contemporary Tradeshow, TRANSIT Shoe Show, and KSA, the new Kids Shoe Show.

"January Fashion Market is the key destination for buyers looking for summer lines and trends," says CMC Events Director Brittany Carr.  "What makes the CMC unique for buyers is its comprehensive array of resources, covering every market segment from children's to updated, from men's and women's contemporary apparel to footwear, from gifts & lifestyle resources to stylish home furnishings & decor.  Additionally, the CMC's new partnership with KSA Kids Shoe Show this Market expands the selection of kids resources at the CMC, further cementing our LA Kids Market as the kidswear industry's most important marketplace on the West Coast."

Also new to the CMC is FRNCH showroom, a Parisian-inspired collection providing a unique style, contemporary yet easy-to-wear pieces. Simon Jin, CEO of FRNCH, says that in order to launch their new line, "we needed a solid and major location with a good exposure to start fresh. The CMC is a prominent and well-known building where we would like to put strong foundations for our business."

In addition to new resources, this LA Fashion Market will also feature many returning, established brands at SELECT Better Contemporary Tradeshow. Featured in the Fashion Theater, Monday-Wednesday, buyers can expect to find lines such as Brazilian designer, Marcia Moran; Northern California based jewelry designer, Leslie Francesca; women's leather accessories and handbags, Hobo Bags; leading cashmere brand, Magaschoni; luxe boots and heels by Bettye Muller; one-of-a-kind natural gemstones and organic fossil jewelry by Krysia Renau. Buyer favorite, Marcia Moran, has been participating in SELECT since 2011 and will be giving away a pair of beautiful, druzy earrings to a buyer each day during the Show.

TRANSIT, LA's longest running footwear Show, will take place in the Penthouse, Monday-Wednesday, and showcase both emerging labels and renowned brands such as Seychelles, Steve Madden, Chinese Laundry, Jeffrey Campbell, BC Footwear, Frye Company, Lucky Brand, Dolce Vita, Vince Camuto, Andre Assous, Chelsea Crew, Adam Tucker, MIA Shoes, MTNG and more.

MTNG has been participating in TRANSIT for 3 years and will be introducing a new lifestyle brand, WE ARE UNITED, at the Show. "Five shows a year keeps us in front of our California customers with regularity," says Todd Beeman, VP Sales for the brand."It also provides a good opportunity for future and immediate business based on timing of shows." MTNG will also be giving away a free pair of shoes daily to buyers who attend TRANSIT.

Additional resources coming in March include a new athletic and leisure apparel Show, called SHAPE, to coincide with LA Fashion Market, March 15-18, as well as the return of LA Men's Market, April 7-8, the successful men's contemporary and premium streetwear Show, and other special events that will be announced at a later time.

Next week's LA Fashion Market dates at the CMC are Sunday-Wednesday, January 11-14, 2015 from 9a-6p daily for the Summer 15 season. The following show dates will be Sunday-Wednesday, March 15-18, 2015.
