Is it time for fashion designers to start planning for space fashion? Space fashion being, "clothing & footwear appropriate for wearing in outer space".
We are not talking about the t-shirts and hats sold in the Kennedy Space Center gift shop. Sure they have fabulous NASA relevant clothing, but not the type to actually wear on your next cosmic journey.
Space travel clothing may not be of urgency, but it appears we are moving closer in the direction of increased space travel. Therefore, it might be time to plan better ways to make astronauts feel more comfortable as well as stylish in space.
