Fashion Designer Cristina Ottaviano

Fashion designer Cristina Ottaviano was born and raised in New York and graduated from The Fashion Institute of Technology where she acquired the skills and talents that provide the underpinnings of her fashion vision. As a student, she interned for Marc Jacobs and Oscar de la Renta, working in the atelier and learning the intricacies of creating a collection. After graduation, Cristina joined the design team at Marchesa where she perfected her skills in draping and fabric manipulation. Cristina's love for luxurious fabrics and intricate embroideries then led her to London where she studied at Central Saint Martins.

Inspired by the feminine looks of emerging fashion designer Cristina Ottaviano, Svitlana Flom's post “Get Chic this Upcoming Fall Season” illustrates her experience working alongside the designer to assemble chic and sophisticated looks to complement special occasions hosted right at home.  Svitlana Flom is Editor-In-Chief of Art de Fete.
