What is Naturally Adaptive about HDWool?

Why is this important in Garment Insulation?
HDWool® Thermal Comfort™ absorbs water vapour and releases it
into dry air. This ‘buffering’ capability helps to maintain a higher level of

humidity in the gap between a garment and the wearer increases, the insulation
value of the garment reduces, allowing the cold to reach the wearer more
