New York Men's Fashion Week

It is now official, their will be a New York Fashion Week: Men's in the not too distant future.

We have been hearing whispers for some time regarding the US gaining its very own dedicated menswear showcase.  On February 5th, 2015 the proposition of New York hosting its very own Men’s Fashion Week became reality according to the CFDA.

The CFDA, which owns the Fashion Calendar, will organize the shows aligned with New York Men's Market week.

New York Fashion Week:Men's will feature a mix of runway shows, presentations, and special events.  A few of the inaugural event participants will include Calvin Klein, Michael Kors, Rag & Bone, Public School, Billy Reid, Todd Snyder, Michael Bastian, Ovadia & Sons, Robert, Geller, Tommy Hilfiger, Duckie Brown, Patrick Ervell, Orley and Kent and Curwen, to name a few.

The Council of Fashion Designers of America announced the launch of a separate, standalone showcase of American menswear brands that is scheduled to take place July 13-16, 2015 in New York City.  The biannual event kicks off with the Spring 2016 collections.
