It has come to our
attention that Retail Link® 2.0 is making its big debut in just a matter
of months. If you are a softlines supplier selling to Walmart, you
are most likely familiar with Retail Link (their proprietary software). Looks
like they may be getting ready to launch an updated version.
What is new in Retail
Link 2.0?
If you are asking me,
the answer is that I am really not sure.
How to find out what
is in Retail Link 2.0?
One was is to ask
someone that actually knows. Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer
at Walmart, Chandrasekaran leads the technology and data transformation underway
at Walmart that is referred to as Retail Link 2.0. The information sharing
system known as Retail Link was pioneered by Walmart more than two decades ago
and today is used extensively by suppliers for all manner of supply chain
applications (learn about Retail Link training). Sure, you can possibly contact Walmart to see what they have
available for you, but my guess is that they are rather busy.
You may want to
check with other services such as RapidTrain.me who appear to be presenting
seminars on the subject.
Your business should
be operating at its best both now and later so what are you waiting for? It is
time to start your education on the new system.
Register for a
Retail Link® training from
RapidTrain.me at locations near you now. Before registering, just double check
that the meeting will discuss version 2.0 if that is what you are specifically
wishing to learn about. They offer other seminar topics, so make sure you are
actually attending the proper seminar to meet your needs. Below are a few dates

being taught at these events.

By the way, some
companies may already have full access to the early release of Retail Link®
2.0. I am not sure if that is a requirement to attend one of these
events.
Note: the events
mentioned above are NOT sponsored (not associated with) Walmart. I am not sure if this
company has any relationship to Walmart what so ever. As per my understanding this is a service provider that is not directly associated with Walmart.
