Holiday finances getting you down?  Yeah, me too... It is fun shopping for friends and family during the holidays but it certainly takes a toll on the pocketbook. 

Suggestion: try to save some money when you buy the basics.

Yes, you can find makeup at Walmart.

If you save money buying cosmetics at Walmart, you can possibly later afford to purchase fashion or makeup at luxury retailers such as Barneys New York or Bloomingdale's.

By the way, another place to look for beauty products would be Ulta.  They offer a nice selection of both prestige & mass cosmetics, makeup, fragrance, skincare, haircare, etc.
