Clothing Stores for Men

Sorry gentlemen… although both men & women wear clothing, the majority of industry news and blog posts regarding fashion are regarding “women’s fashion”.  Yes, we agree that this is border line unfair to men.  However, it is important to keep in mind that women tend to shop for clothing more frequently than men.  Obviously that is a general statement and is not always the case.  Some men shop more often than women, but we can possibly agree that the majority of shopping is traditionally done by females.  This would include mothers purchasing apparel for their boys and wives purchasing clothes for their husbands.

Although style bloggers typically write news geared toward the womenswear market, we sometimes write about men’s fashion as well.  If you enjoy men’s style, the good news is that this particular post is regarding shopping for “men’s clothing”.  So let’s get to it.

Where is the best place to shop for men’s clothing?

To answer this question we should first figure out if men prefer to purchase online or in actual clothing stores.  Maybe we should take a fashion survey on this topic.  OK, since we don’t actually have a survey completed, maybe we should move onto an easier question first.

Where can we find men’s clothing stores?

This is pretty easy.  We can use Bing or Google to search for “men’s clothing stores”.  Simply toss that term into the search engine and there you go.  The search results have been getting better as years pass.  These search engines may actually track your location and give you retailers in your general vicinity.  Another way to investigate places to shop would be the directory section here on Apparel Search.  The retailer section is organized in a few ways.  You can find resources by location or store name.  We also provide a retail by category section.  In the by category section you can find clothing stores for men.

Lord & Taylor Men’s: Visit the Lord & Taylor men’s department either in a brick & mortar location or online.  If you prefer to shop on the web, the Lord & Taylor’s all-in-one menswear hub makes it easier than ever to build a wardrobe that works.  Find new suits and blazers for the office, shirts and jeans for the weekend, and bags that get you where you’re going.
