Trunk Club Stylist Shoppers

Shopping for clothes in stores can become overwhelming and inconvenient. Sure, many of us love shopping for clothing in stores, but a good number of people do not enjoy the process as much as we do.  To make matters worse, they may not have the excellent sense of style that you and I happen to have. With Trunk Club, you’ll discover great clothes that are perfect for you without ever having to go shopping. They combine top brands, expert service, and unparalleled convenience to deliver a highly personalized experience that helps you look your best.  Imagine having your own personal stylist to pick out clothes for you.

Trunk Club is a clothing service for men and women.
Trunk Clothing Stylist Shopping
There are currently two ways to use Trunk Club:

In Person Consultation: They offer personal shopping by appointment in our Chicago, Dallas, DC, and Los Angeles locations, seven days a week. You’ll meet your stylist in a relaxing lounge environment, discuss your clothing needs, have complimentary drinks from our full bar, and try on and buy clothes.  We assume that they plan to expand into additional locations as the company grows.

At home Online Service (Lower 48 U.S. States)

Sign up to get connected to one of our full-time personal stylists. Your stylist will reach out to you by phone/email to get to know you and understand your clothing needs and preferences. Your stylist will send an email containing recommended items, individually selected for you. Pick what you’d like to try on at home and your trunk will ship shortly.  When you receive your trunk, you have 10 days to try everything on. Keep what you love, send back the rest. Shipping is free both ways (including returns).  There’s a pre-paid return label in every trunk and we’ll schedule a free pick-up on request.

So, that it the service in a nutshell.  You can learn more at their website at https://www.trunkclub.com

By the way, I am not certain where Trunk Club finds the clothing and fashion accessories to ship to customers, but in my opinion they would be wise to utilize clothing from Nordstrom.

In August 2014, Trunk Club became a fully owned subsidiary of Nordstrom. According to their website Trunk Club will continue to serve their members independently, but now with the support of a more experienced partner (Nordstrom).

In the opinion of Apparel Search, Nordstrom has been one of the best fashion retailers in terms of embracing the internet.  They have made clever moves to stay relevant in a changing retail environment.  The Trunk Club has not been their only online purchase.  They appear to be gathering key elements but keeping them as relatively separate entities.  I wonder when the other clothing retailers will get this internet thing all figure out like Nordstrom.

Having trendy stylist as your personal shoppers is a good idea for consumers as well as Nordstrom.
