Global Fashion Influencers Ring Bell

Perry Ellis International (PEI) transformed NASDAQ’s closing bell ceremony into fashion-central, kicking off the fashion leader’s 50th anniversary milestone year. 

PEI’s Oscar Feldenkreis, CEO & President, and his father George Feldenkreis, Founder, rang the closing bell at Nasdaq alongside leading fashion influencers, athletes and celebrities that included Justise Winslow of the Miami Heat and singer/actor Carlos Ponce. PEI’s diverse fashion portfolio appeals to global markets via a crossroads of sought-after lifestyle leaders: men’s brands include Perry Ellis, Original Penguin by Munsingwear, Savane, Cubavera and Farah; golf brands include Callaway, PGA TOUR, Jack Nicklaus, Grand Slam, and Ben Hogan; women’s brands include Rafaella, Laundry by Shelli Segal, and Peony & Me; the swim brands feature Nike and Jantzen.

As part of the Nasdaq closing bell ceremony event honoring its 50th anniversary, PEI presented exclusive social media forums broadcast live from the company’s showrooms in New York. International media presentations featured George and Oscar Feldenkreis alongside family members, global fashion influencers and industry leaders, athletes and celebrities, and executive members of PEI. The company’s associates were featured throughout the morning on the Times Square Nasdaq Marketsite Tower and Marquee, as part of a worldwide campaign to recognize the contributions of its associates around the world to PEI’s half-century of success.

PEI Associate Ricardo Carillo (from Puerto Rico), Grand Prize Winner of the 2017 PEI Style Contest. The competition was extended to all U.S. based employees including Puerto Rico. Participants submitted a photo of themselves rocking their best PEI look via the internet and social media. Over 600 PEI employees voted for Mr. Carillo as the winner.
