Fall Fiber Fiesta 2017

Fall Fiber Fiesta 2017 is the fifth annual show organized by the Española Valley Fiber Arts Center that provides exposure to a broad range of traditional and contemporary handmade fiber artwork. This year the show will again take place at the Scottish Rite Temple in Santa Fe on Saturday and Sunday November 18–19, 2017. This is the largest show in Santa Fe exclusively dedicated to handmade creations of New Mexico’s Fiber Artists.
New Mexico’s tradition in Fiber Arts is extensive, bridging cultures, techniques and materials. Several of featured artists at Fall Fiber Fiesta have achieved national recognition and are masters of their technique, demonstrating great skill mixing colors and textures. Fall Fiber Fiesta offers you the opportunity to meet the artists who have spent countless hours creating beautiful and unique works of fiber art—browse colorful displays, feel the rich textures and find locally handmade gifts for your friends and family!

This eventful weekend kicks off Friday, November 17 with an Artists’ Reception, from 5:00–8:00 p.m. allowing everyone to meet featured artists, preview artwork, and have the first chance at shop. Admission to the reception is $10, and music, light snacks and wines will be offered.
On Saturday, November 18 and Sunday, November 19 doors will open from 10am to 5pm for visitors and shoppers to browse the gallery, shop the colorful displays and participate in demonstrations of various Fiber Arts techniques that will teach and inspire. Families and children are welcome and encouraged to participate throughout both days of Fall Fiber Fiesta. There is no admission fee to attend and participate in Fall Fiber Fiesta on November 18 and 19.
