Time to learn more about clothing industry terminology.

Terminology is the study of terms and their use. Clothing terms are words and compound words or multi-word expressions that in specific contexts are given specific meanings—these may deviate from the meanings the same words have in other contexts and in everyday language.  Fashion terms are relevant to clothing & clothing industry topics.

Yippie, three brand new fashion terms created today.  Well they are not actually "created for the first time" today.  The concepts behind the words have existed for decades or possibly longer.  Today is the first day that Apparel Search has compiled information & thoughts with an attempt to properly describe these particular fashion terms for our audience.

OK, we probably should not be so proud of creating three new terms for our fashion terminology section.  However, you may not be aware that we rarely create three of anything in one single day.  Therefore, we were pretty proud and figured we would share this on the blog.  Anyway, if you are not impressed, you can simply go about the business of your day and disregard this post.  Oops, too late.  You already appear to have read it.
