What is fashion? Fashion is most often thought of as a global industry that is invested in anticipating what we wear and how we wish to appear to others. Fashion is not simply a business concept. It is a cultural & social phenomenon that is driven by the desire to dress in a particular way. We all have a different sense of style or identity. Many of us wish to express this via the clothing, footwear, or accessories that we choose to wear. It can be said that people with a high interest in fashion which to wear new & exciting clothing. But that is certainly not always the case. Think about people that care about what they wear, and are interested in Goth or possibly vintage clothes. Although they enjoy clothing, they are not necessarily striving to own new trendy styles of clothing. We all explore fashion in our own ways that meet our individual preferences. Some of us wish to be unique, while others of us simply wish to fly under the radar and dress "average".
Fashion is an industry as well as a umbrella covering a wide range of products. In our opinion clothes, shoes, headwear, jewelry, and accessories can all fall under the umbrella of the term fashion.
