of Prey was founded by Michael Fox, Mike Knapp and Jodie Fox in Sydney in
2009.
Shoes of
Prey is a global, multi-channel retail brand that enables shoppers to design
their own shoes online. The company is changing the way women shop for shoes,
and is on track to become a significant international retailer over the next
five years. Shoes of Prey has won and been nominated for many awards, with
recent prizes including Best International Conqueror 2015 and Online Retailer of
the Year 2014 at the Online Retail Industry Awards, and Kogan Australian Online
Retailer of the Year 2013 at the Australian Retail Awards.
In
partnership with Shoes of Prey, the Australian shoe company, Nordstrom
has opened six design studios where customers can design and personalize shoes.
Customers can choose from hundreds of combinations of style, heel height,
material, color, size and width. These custom designs are an especially great
resource for customers who wear very small or large sizes since Shoes of Prey
carry sizes from 2 ½ to 15.
The
Seattle-based department store Nordstrom recently took a stake in Shoes of Prey
as part of a $15.5 million funding round for the firm.
