Craig Green with Björn Borg Sports Fashion Capsule AW16

Craig Green incorporates both light and shadow, teaming up with Björn Borg for a limited edition sports fashion capsule collection of men’s, women’s and unisex clothing and underwear. This marks the debut for Green in designing a full sportswear collection. The collection is officially presented during Fashion Week Stockholm on February 1, 2016.
Award-winning London designer Craig Green has made a name for himself mixing minimal garments and dramatically sculptured body-pieces.
“The Craig Green x Björn Borg Collection marries my conceptual fascination with light and shadow, with the utilitarian beauty of Björn Borg’s heritage. The idea is to have a multifunctional garment for both men and women that is not really gender-specific. Functional components become a distinct design feature, and a bold logo is replaced by a single circle – a development of the whole motif I often explore”, said Craig Green

The collection consists of 20 pieces of clothing in off-white and black, and will be sold globally as of October 2016. Looks include padded trousers for men and women, performance running leggings and a lightweight technical raincoat with drawstring details, combining performance with fashionable sportswear in a conceptual mix.

Outline of the collection:
Performance sports tops and compression leggings for running
Quilted polo tops, hooded ponchos and pants
Punch hole tops and pants as well as polo tops
Sport jackets, bomber jackets and sport trousers
Performance and cotton underwear as well as bra tops
A distinct sports hat and rucksack.
