Cloud PLM leader WFX sponsored PI Apparel 2014, an event which took place in
London on the 15th and 16th of July 2014. PI Apparel is an annual event that brings
attention to new technologies to help support the growing demands of the fashion
industry. This platform is for companies to discuss challenges and opportunities
of new technology in improving product lifecycles.

WFX Cloud PLM was represented at PI Apparel by WFX and London based partner
1970i, with its lead consultant Ben Muis also participating at the show. “This
was my second year at the event” says Ben. "Technology is moving fast and the
need for solid and progressive solutions for our clients in the fashion industry
has only increased in that time. We have worked with WFX for almost three years
now and have seen how the Cloud based approach is giving our clients new
features all the time. The superb team at WFX manages to roll out
implementations at a speed that our customers just cannot get anywhere else.
Technology should not stand still in a business as dynamic as fashion. And
fashion should not stand still whilst waiting for technology."
WFX provides a style, costing, sourcing, supply chain, pricing, and life-cycle
management system which integrate day to day design and product development
activity through a simple, intuitive and highly responsive interface.
Its key benefits include:
- Easy access to a PLM Cloud based system.

- Can be accessed 24/7

- Automatic updates and upgrades.

- Real-time control over the product.

PI Apparel, 2014 was rewarding for WFX as WFX’s unique Cloud offering
received recognition from the industry. An increased awareness was witnessed
amongst all about Cloud technologies and how to leverage it for fashion
businesses.
In addition to PLM systems they also can provide help with PDM as you can see from the image below.
