Dinner 2015 Fashion Sidaction

The 2015 Gala Closing Dinner Fashion Week Haute Couture with the benefit of Sidaction collected € 690,000.


On Thursday, January 29th, was held the 13th edition of the Fashion Dinner, hosted by Sidaction and the French Federation of Couture, at the Pavillon d'Armenonville in Paris. This charity dinner aims to raise funds for the fight against AIDS. This year, 600 persons attended the event.
Dinner of fashion has raised € 690,000.

On this occasion, Pierre Bergé, president of the association, said that dealing with the epidemic, it should not lower our guard: "The number 1 enemy of AIDS today is commoditization." Line Renaud, vice president of the association, has in turn added: "Our only hope to counter the disease is research."

Ever since its creation, the Festival de Cannes has remained faithful to its founding purpose: to draw attention to and raise the profile of films with the aim of contributing towards the development of cinema, boosting the film industry worldwide and celebrating cinema at an international level.

The red carpet steps at the festival are one aspect of the event and, without a doubt, the part of the festival that draws the most media attention. For the organisation, they represent above all an opportunity to give an initial and equally special welcome to both the world’s greatest film artists and emerging talent. They also represent an opportunity to honour the creativity of those artists on whom the Festival’s prestige depends.

Did you know that this French fashion designer presented at the 9th Cannes Palais des Festival last year in April?  Well, it is true.  He also attended the 12e Festival International du Film de Marrakech last December.  He certainly has been keeping busy.  By the way, we should not forget that he had also shown his collection last year at the 65th Cannes Film Festival (2012).
