Los Angeles-based Lucky Brand, America's premier denim brand, has teamed up with Universal Music Group's global music merchandising company, Bravado and catalog label, Universal Music Enterprises (UMe), to celebrate The Rolling Stones' North American tour, ZIP CODE, and Sticky Fingers album reissue. The collaboration will give Lucky customers and Rolling Stone fans an authentic experience that includes a limited-edition line of tees and jackets, in-store merchandise and a VIP Experience giveaway.

The collection features 24 men's and women's tees, with prices ranging from $39.50 to $49.50. Additionally, the 'Sticky Fingers' reissue, one of the most revered albums in the storied catalog of the legendary Rolling Stones, rounds out the collection as the album will be available in all Lucky Brand stores and online at LuckyBrand.com in early June, with 100% of the profits from the sale of CDs benefitting VH1 Save The Music.

The partnership also includes The Rolling Stones "VIP Experience" giveaway -  two tickets to the 4th of July show in Indianapolis, a $1500 travel voucher and a $500 Lucky Brand shopping spree. The giveaway will be hosted online on LuckyBrand.com.

MountKarma Crowdfund for Nepal

On April 25th a massive earthquake struck Nepal devastating its people and culture.  With over 8,000 deaths, half a million displaced individuals and countless world heritage sites decimated Nepal needs support.

Kevin Lanuk is the founder of Mountkarma, a Himalayan fashion start-up based in Kathmandu, Nepal.  They are running a crowdfunding campaign to raise funds for the purchase of aid materials for the earthquake victims of Nepal.  Specifically, they are focused on bringing aid to villages in the Nuwakot district, one of the areas hardest hit.  One village they assessed named Simle needs roof’s for 12 homes to hold back water from the impending monsoon and rice to feed the village.  The cost as of today;  a single 30kg sack of rice is 1350nrp or $13.28 and the cost of tin roofs for 12 houses is 58000nrp or $570.74.

They have a unique platform as a Himalayan clothing brand to raise support through awareness. TextStyle is a seamless, secure way for customers to make curated purchases from their salesperson or personal stylist using text messaging. With the launch of TextStyle, Nordstrom is now the only retail company in the U.S. that offers customers who opt in the ability to shop and buy with a text message.

In 2014, the retailer launched NEXT, an opt-in, secure one-to-one service that lets Nordstrom customers who prefer texting to communicate with their salesperson using their smartphone. TextStyle leverages the security, privacy and capabilities built into the Nordstrom NEXT texting service.

"TextStyle is an important step forward in our continued efforts to develop ways to serve customers on their terms," said Jamie Nordstrom, president of stores. "For customers who prefer text messaging, TextStyle is a way for our salespeople to provide a personalized styling experience and for customers to view and buy seamlessly with the convenience and simplicity of a text message, wherever and whenever they like."

How to use TextStyle

4. The purchase is completed using the customer's Nordstrom.com account information.
