A Mesh-Bottom Beach Bag for More Fun, Less Sand
Life’s a beach, but when sand gets into your bag… well, now that’s just a b*#%h. Shake totes are
designed to keep your items in and the sand far away. The bags feature a
reversible flap that can be pinned to either side, allowing you to reveal or
conceal the netting at will. Flip the bottom flap to reveal mesh netting that
keeps your beach swag in while you shake unwanted sand out. Its coated canvas
repels water, its roomy interior includes a zippered pocket for valuables, and
its soft plastic straps won’t slip off your shoulder.
Like all Quirky products, Shake was invented and influenced by real people like
you. Avid summer surfers Charlie Dougiello and Spike Mendelsohn spend a lot of
time at the beach, waging a constant war against sand in their stuff. To solve
this problem once and for all, they co-designed a waterproof, mesh-bottom
bag—and submitted it to Quirky. They still spend plenty of time in the sand, but
bring a lot less of it home with them now.
