Poko Pano’s Summer 2015 collection embodies Rio de Carnival meets Miami and
launches at a perfect time, as Brazil celebrated this years FIFA World Cup. “I
wanted to translate the joy and pride that one feels to be Brazilian, especially
with the many history-making activities taking place in our backyard,” says
Robba. “By capturing that passion, we will be sure to leave a memorable mark in
the hearts of onlookers."
The overall collection is inspired by the country’s spirit including its
history, nature and religion, which are reflected through the prints of fruit,
amulets, flowers as well as the season’s vibrant colors. Expanding the apparel
line this year to include skirts, pants and kaftans, Poko Pano returns with its
signature bikini and one-piece silhouettes in high quality Lycra®.
This year, GG Gatsby joined the team to create an effortless sleek and sultry
hairstyle. Paired with bronze, dewy makeup courtesy of Beauty Schools of
America, the models were picturesque walking the iconic pool of The Raleigh
Hotel, South Beach with Miami’s sun as the backdrop.
