What is going on at online street fashion retailer Karmaloop?

According to their website, “In a world dominated by cookie-cutter clones, the evil forces of McFashion spread a dastardly agenda throughout the universe. The masses lived in the dark, in a bland world of predictability and boredom. The culture had been contaminated and Individual style was nonexistent.”  Then came Greg Selkoe the founder of Karmaloop.   He created Karmaloop which is a multi-platform web retailer, community style and media company specializing in streetwear ecommerce.

It appears that some where along the way, the online retailer hit a financial speed bump.  The good news is that they appear to be working thru their issues and will hopefully continue as an active streetwear ecommerce retailer.

Konus Streetwear Rocks LA's Line Hotel

The indie blogosphere came out to support the highly anticipated launch of new streetwear brand, KONUS on June 4, 2015 at Break Room 86 at the Line Hotel in Los Angeles. Hosted by fashion bloggers Eugenie Grey of Feral Creature, Francis Lola of Flamcis and Ellen V Lora, the edgy retro themed party included a one of a kind runway show that flaunted the line's pieces followed by a break dancing set as well as a live music set by DJ NURE.
