Playing on
Camelot era codes of feminine dressing, designer Erin Fetherston’s
Autumn / Winter 2014 presentation at New York Fashion week was a
decadent success.
Taking place at the W Hotel, Erin’s presentation was brimming with guests excited to see the designer’s newest collection. Celebrity guests and industry leaders including Erin’s famous rocker husband Gabe Saporta, Neiman Marcus Fashion Director Ken Downing, Teen Vogue Style Director Andrew Bevan and more, were on-site sipping VOGA Italia wine throughout the evening.

Fetherston’s
collection was filled with decadent jacquards, delicate laces and rich textures.
Elegant gowns were rendered in lush velvet devorés and romantic floral motifs
with gilded touches. Cocktail dresses were defined by their statement making
skirts, ranging from sleek and slim to flirty and flared. Separates made their
entrée by way of illusion; cleverly constructed pop-over tops and exquisitely
embellished chiffon tees adjoin bell and ball skirts alike. Bold floral pastiche
prints adorned neoprene and silk ottoman, adding a decidedly modern punch to the
designer's romantic palette of wintery pastels and dazzling hues of emerald,
sapphire, and ruby.
