Men Looking for Perfect Denim Jeans
Men Looking for Perfect Denim Jeans
Searching for the perfect pair of jeans? Well, we can’t make
any promises. However, we have put together a rather fine list to help you on
your quest. Clearly, not all men’s
jeans stores are created equal. Some are clearly better than others. For
those of you that are interested in moving closer toward your goal of finding
the perfect pair of jeans, here are a few more boutiques to add to your list of
stores to further investigate.
3x1 (New York) Bespoke denim jeans retailer,
3x1 in Soho NYC offers custom tailor made jeans for men and women using the best
premium material. After successfully launching Paper Denim & Cloth (1999)
and Earnest Sewn (2004), founder Scott Morrison’s love affair with denim has
officially reached a new level with 3x1. The denim legend has created the
world's first 'Bespoke' process for denim connoisseurs and jean lovers alike.
Scott personally oversees the design of every 3x1 jean, meaning his fingerprints
will be all over your bespoke pair.

M5 ROEBLING from 3x1 |
The Roebling uses a heavier 14 oz 100% cotton red caste selvedge denim from Kurabo in Japan. The wash pattern and tinting is very authentic and looks like you broke them in from a raw pair of jeans. The rust marks and phone wear give this jean a very natural looking break-in.
Brown Denim (Boston) Brown Denim
provides Bespoke jeans. Custom Jeans with fabric to Be-Spoken for. The true
Bespoke process of unlimited fabric choices. Denim in any color & texture.
100% cotton from the finest mills in Japan, Italy, & Cone Mills of the USA.
All different weights for the various climates & stretch if preferred for
relaxing comfort. The chosen name, Brown representing my specialty of
hand-craftsmanship. Deim illustrating the finest, historical cloth with origins
from Nimes/France begetting Deim de Nimes. Boston Custom is where all design,
patterns, production, & hand craft takes place.
OriJeans (Maryland) OriJeans began as a
kickstarter campaign to produce individually hand-crafted jeans, from raw,
selvedge denim, delivered at an affordable price. Selvedge denim is a beautiful
thing, it’s real, it’s authentic and it’s original. And we want to make it more
available to those who appreciate quality and timeless fashion in the same
garment. Most folks cannot afford made-to-order clothing. OriJeans changes
that. You choose the fabric and details and then jeans are tailored to you.
They deliver your “dream jeans”. Let the denim learn who you are, form to your
body, and naturally fade and wear. Over time, there may be scratches and holes,
but you will know there is a story behind how you get them, not a factory-floor
machine. Raw denim reminds us at OriJeans that character comes from living
life. Selvedge denim is about tradition and craftsmanship to the finest detail.
The "self edge" of selvedge denim comes from a continuous-thread weaving method
of traditional American denim looms. These traditional looms were replaced by
larger, faster looms during times of soaring mass-market demand for jeans in the
1940’s, but their craftsmanship was left unmatched. You can identify selvedge
denim by the distinct seam, typically white and a colored thread, on the outside
seam of a pair of cuffed jeans.
Henry A. Davidson
(Philadelphia, PA) Create your own line. Custom jeans allow you to choose the
treatment to the denim, pocket styles for front and back pockets, and stitching
color and design. Custom embroider a small personal identifier or a large piece
of artwork to truly personalize your creation. Enjoy the most comfortable fit on
top of it all. Henry A. Davidsen Master Tailors & Image Consultants offers
the finest in custom tailored clothing, casual wear, accessories and image
consulting for professionals. Their one-on-one consultations provide the
ultimate in luxury, they create a wardrobe designed just for you. They aim to
provide you with a collection of perfectly fitting and classically fashionable
garments through personalized service unmatched in any traditional retail
environment. They source top quality fabrics and trimmings from around the
globe. In today’s value conscious moment, they find that the luxury of custom is
in many cases MORE affordable than items off the rack.
Richard James
(United Kingdom) Since 1992 Richard James has quickly established a reputation
for itself as a leading luxury brand that has set the standard for contemporary
tailoring and menswear. The first of the ‘New Establishment’ tailors on Savile
Row, Richard James is proud to have contributed to revitalizing what has long
been acknowledged as the world centre for tailoring with its bold, progressive
take on the timeless and traditional. Cut from a personal pattern, pieced
together in-house and fitted until the cutter and client deem it perfect, a
bespoke Richard James suit is a unique hand-made on Savile Row garment that,
while always flattering, will naturally reveal something of the character of its
owner. Richard James is known for the clean, slim lines of its tailoring, but
with the bespoke service, the ultimate tailoring experience, the client
naturally becomes the focal point of the design process and is never not
encouraged to express himself.

Here is one more denim supplier you can take a look at when you have a moment.
Traveller
Denim Co. was born through drunken nights in Austin, TX while dreaming of
ways to make lives more fulfilling. The designers were getting tired of
disposable America where production was no longer about high quality garments.
They were immersed in the ever-changing creative world of film but they needed
more. They wanted a way to reach people again. Bespoke denim was the answer.
Simple, beautiful and handcrafted in one of the great states of the union.
They use the finest Japanese and Cone Mills selvedge to bring you the best pair
of jeans you’ll ever own. The devil is in the details and that’s where Traveller
Denim comes in.
We hope you enjoy learning about fashion and more importantly
