Ready to Show, the only sourcing exhibition in Italy for garments, knitwear and fashion accessories, organized jointly with Intertex Milano, the international fabrics exhibition, was held at the same time as Milano Unica from September 9 to 11, 2015. Open to producers and exporters from all over the world, this exhibition is keenly dedicated to participants from Non- European Countries, who are most welcome and all buyers know that this is the only exhibition in Italy to meet them!
8 countries were represented s exhibitors at Ready to Show, not only Italy , but also China, Hong Kong, Turkey, India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, and Nepal!

In 2015 Italian importations of fabrics and clothing has decreased by 1% , Tunisia is the big loser ( -6%) but also importations from China (-6%) and Romania (-5%) have gone down. At contrary, Bangladesh has exported to Italy +7% , Pakistan +12%, Albania +10% and Turkey +6%. Despite its market share, in 2015, has dropped from 23% to 22% China is still the first supplier, followed by Turkey, Bangladesh and Russia.
Their aim for Ready to Show/ Intertex Milano on September 2016 will be to introduce a larger choice of suppliers, in order to give Italian and European sourcing managers (and especially new comers such as chain-stores or young brands) an opportunity to meet in Milan a specimen of each type of proposal before organizing their next sourcing mission abroad!
Italia export has turned to increase (+2%/2015) specially towards The USA (+15%), UK (+9%),
Spain (+6%), Austria (+12%), Korea (+13%) but has signed -33% in Russia market!
Total export represents 27 Billion Euro!
Suppliers of Italian Fashion are not only concerned by Italian market.. but at the contrary they can
be sure to follow the commercial trades of market all around the world!
