Whitney Port Celebrated ban.do's Poolside Party

ban.do, the lifestyle brand that's serious about fun, hosted their epic pool party in partnership with The Venue Report last night at The Line Hotel in the heart of Los Angeles. Fashion bloggers, tastemakers, influencers and celebrities such as Whitney Port, Kerri Medders, Niki Koss, Sarah Ramos and Cailee Rae came together to celebrate the brand's popular Outdoor Fun collection and two exclusive dreamy summer collaborations; including a swimwear collection with Cover Swim and signature hydrating mist with Refinery 29.

As a brand that never fails to pull all the stops, the party was the most fun, photographable, instagrammable, snapchattable pool party that Los Angeles had ever seen. ban.do and The Venue Report took over the pool at The Line Hotel with lots of pizza from famed chef Roy Choi, fun drinks, and of course a pool filled with inflatables; taking a cue from the brand's most liked Instagram post of all time, the venue was stocked full of inflatable props, both from ban.do's own outdoor fun collection and #girlspopup bestsellers like the rainbow unicorn, pineapple and watermelon.

The brand also unveiled a new swimwear line in collaboration with Cover Swim. This two-piece collection will feature a one-piece suit featuring the "Hot Tub Club" Graphic featured on its latest apparel line, and a two-piece suit in Lady of Leisure, a design that has already been incredibly popular with the brand's customer base.  It is available to purchase now on www.bando.com and www.coverswim.com, retailing at ($150-200). The collection will also be available to view at Cabana during Miami Swim Week. The brand also showcased a signature summer hydrating mist by Anese Skincare in collaboration with Refinery29. The scent will be available to purchase exclusively through ban.do's online #girlspopup, retailing at ($26). The mist will also be made available to guests of Refinery29's Beach House in Montauk later in the summer. 

DJ Michael Antonia from the Flashdance provided music for the night and guests took home a drool worthy gift bag which included the Refinery 29 x Anese Skincare Out Of Office Hydrating Mist, Kate Somerville ExfoliKate, a summer make up kit from Stila, Emma Straub's new book Modern Lovers, sunnies from zeroUV, S'well bottle and LOTS of ban.do (duh!).

Sarah Hyland Edgy Hair Braid

Sarah Hyland stepped out with an edgy hair braid at the Vanity Fair Pre-Oscar Party this weekend in Los Angeles! Nikki Lee, co-founder for NINE ZERO ONE salon, created a voluminous ponytail with braids on the side for an edgy surprise. 

Here's how to get her look:

Start by adding Unite Texturiza spray to the hair. Next, section out the top Mohawk and clip out of they way. Create an inverted braid on each side of the head. Once finished with the braids, tease the top of the hair for added volume before pulling it back into a ponytail. Finally, finish the look using Unite Max Control Spray!

Fashion Drinks with Voga and Sparkling Ice

Whether you’re behind the stage, sitting front row, or reading updates online, sip in style during the trendiest week of the year with these Fashion Week inspired cocktail recipes from VOGA Italia and SPARKLING ICE.

As you know the Fashion Blog is all about fashion.  So, why a blog post about cocktails?  Well the names are so darn fashionable it is hard to pass up the opportunity to post about this.

Pretty in Pink

Ingredients

• 3 oz.  Grapefruit Sparkling ICE
• 1 ½ oz.  vodka
• 1 oz. lime juice
• Lime wedge
• Sliced fresh jalapeño
• Chili salt for rim of glass (Kosher salt mixed with chili powder)

Directions

• Use a lime wedge to rub the entire rim of a chilled martini glass, and dip into chili salt mixture. 
• Combine vodka and jalapeno slices with ice in a shaker.
• Strain and pour into the chilled martini glass.
• Top with Grapefruit Sparkling ICE. 
• Garnish with a few Jalapeno slices. 

Haute Couture

Ingredients:

·         1 oz Vodka

·         3 oz VOGA Pinot Grigio

·         1 oz. Cranberry or pomegranate juice

·         Fresh berries (for garnish)

Directions:

·         Pour VOGA Pinot Grigio and vodka into chilled martini glass

·         Top with cranberry or pomegranate juice

·         Garnish with fresh berries

Little Black Dress

Ingredients:

·         4 oz VOGA Merlot

·         3 oz. Coca-Cola

·         Lemon/lime (for garnish)

Directions:

·         Pour VOGA Merlot, then Coca-Cola over ice

·         Garnish with lemon or lime slices around the rim of the glass

Flirty Fashionista

Ingredients:

• 3 oz. Peach Nectarine Sparkling ICE
• 2 oz. VOGA Prosecco
• Sliced white peaches for garnish 

Directions:

• Pour VOGA Prosecco, then Peach Nectarine Sparkling ICE over ice 
• Garnish with sliced peaches, raspberry and basil

Katy Tiz OK Magazine Grammy Party in LA

Katy Tiz wore Brevity jewelry the other night to the OK Magazine Grammy Party in Los Angeles. The Big Big Bang singer accessorized her look with the Horo 10 necklace ($75; www.brevityjewelry.com).

Katy Tiz is a British pop singer-songwriter who gained mainstream acknowledgement for her artist career after she released her cover of Rock Mafia's popular debut single "The Big Bang" which led her to landing a recording contract with Atlantic Records. Tiz has confirmed in recent interviews that she was indeed working on her debut album under Atlantic Records with Rock Mafia serving as co-producers on the record.

Angie Harmon x Red Earth Brand Launch Party

Two nights ago at The Cordelle in Nashville, ethical lifestyle accessories brand RED EARTH celebrated the pre-release of their private label collection with celebrity designer, ANGIE HARMON.  Over 300 partygoers were on hand to preview the jewelry line (Angie Harmon x Red Earth) and to hear more about the collaboration from Harmon and Travis Gravette, Founder of Red Earth. Among the supporters in attendance were Cassadee Pope (artist, Big Machine Label Group), Mike Wolfe (History Channel's "American Pickers"), Rick Nielson (Cheap Trick), Samantha Stephens (TV/radio personality and artist) and Amanda Valentine ("Project Runway").
