Does the bigger iPhone 6 mean bigger handbags?
Now more than ever, wearable technologies are influencing
trends in fashion. From the 90’s cell phone belt clip and hoodies with a place
for your headphones, to actually
wearing technology with Apple Watch and Google Glass, fashion is no
stranger to the evolving consumer electronics space.
Now, designers are making pieces especially for consumer
devices. With the iPhone 6 nearly an inch and a half bigger than the previous
model, will fashion follow suit?
Alex Weiss, Partner at CA Creative, a social media agency that works with brands like Robert
Rodriguez, Anne Taylor LOFT, and Paige Denim, has this to say about what she’s
seen recently:
“As seen this past fashion week with Opening Cermony's
MICA bracelet and Rebecca Minkoff's bluetooth bracelets, the trend of designers
collaborating with technology brands to produce innovate and wearable products
is only becoming more popular. I wouldn't be surprised if brands start
designing bags and jeans with bigger pockets to accommodate the
iPhone6+”
Clearly technology and innovation go hand in hand with the clothing industry.
About the iPhone 6
iPhone 6 isn’t simply bigger — it’s better in every way. Larger, yet dramatically thinner. More powerful, but remarkably power efficient. With a smooth metal surface that seamlessly meets the new Retina HD display. It’s one continuous form where hardware and software function in perfect unison, creating a new generation of iPhone that’s better by any measure
