Lorenzo Serafin Creative Director of Philosophy

The Aeffe Group is pleased to announce Lorenzo Serafini as the new Creative Director of Philosophy.

A graduate of the Fashion Design program at Naba-Nuova Accademia di belle arti di Milano, Lorenzo Serafini began his career as lead womenswear designer at Roberto Cavalli,  was then appointed lead designer at D&G, and was most recently at Dolce & Gabbana as their lead womenswear designer.

Lorenzo Serafini’s first Philosophy collection will be presented for the Pre-Fall 2015-16 season and his runway debut will be during the next Milano Moda Donna in February 2015.

Lorenzo Serafini affirms: “Philosophy is a positive term defined by deep and stimulating thoughts and ideas.  I’m happy to have the opportunity to create a new fashion story exploring my own aesthetic”.

Massimo Ferretti, President of Aeffe S.p.A states: “One of the group’s objectives is to explore the creativity of new talents and it is with this sentiment that we warmly welcome the arrival of Lorenzo Serafini, a designer who will give Philosophy new life. With this appointment we are strengthening this journey of creative reorganization of our brands that began several seasons ago.  It is a necessary journey that is successfully leading the company into the future.”

Philosophy is a brand owned by the Aeffe Group. Aeffe S.p.A is a company listed on the STAR segment of Italian Stock Exchange that operates at an international level in the luxury sector managing the production and distribution of renowned brand names brand names such as Alberta Ferretti, Moschino, Pollini, Emanuel Ungaro and Cédric Charlier.
