Heart Strings—This oval-shaped sterling silver charm features alternating hearts in Coral and Blush Enamel. The word “Forever” is written in black enamel on one side (MSRP $40).

Crown Jewels—This regal open-dimensional heart-shaped charm features a loose Swarovski Crystal enclosed within (MSRP $55).

Fall 2015 Fashion Color Palette

Having you been following the color trends on display at the February 2015 New York Fashion Week runway shows?  If you haven’t had the time, don’t worry.  Pantone has been doing a fantastic job keeping track of the colors that have been on display.  Below you will find excerpts from a color trend report that they have just released.  It is a must read for all fashionistas and designers.  Below is portion of the article, but you really should visit the Pantone.com website for the full color report.

This season displays an umbrella of accord that weaves earthy neutrals with a range of bold color statements and patterns to reflect a landscape of hope, fun, fantasy and all things natural. The colors are evocative of a love for nature and a timeless appreciation for warmth and security, which are conveyed through naturally inspired colors that remind us of things that are real and protective.

This Fall, designers’ pay homage to progressive moments in American history – from the seductive ‘20s to the bohemian hippie and modernists of the ‘60s and ‘70s – while stringing together an affection for colors and styling that are innately easy to wear by both men and women.

There is one major distinction in the colors this season: A grand shift towards an evolving color palette that is not reliant on color distinctions typically assigned to each gender. This Fall, designers look to sartorial styling and fabrics to define both a masculine and feminine interpretation of hues and color combinations.

The importance of neutrals continues to evolve with Desert Sage, a cool and soothing greenish-gray that serves as the ideal neutral across the Fall 2015 palette. Timeless and unobtrusive, yet powerful enough to make a statement on its own, Desert Sage speaks to the feeling of naturally inspired colors that remind us of things that are real and not invented.

A nod to the ‘60s and ‘70s, Cadmium Orange evokes a sentiment of optimism, fun and fantasy. Amethyst Amelia Kelly, better known by her stage name Iggy Azalea, is an Australian recording artist from Mullumbimby, New South Wales. She left for the United States at the age of 16, to pursue a career in hip hop music, first residing in Miami, Florida, and then other parts of southern United States, including Houston, Texas and Atlanta, Georgia. She first gained recognition after the respective music videos for her controversial songs "Pu$$y" and "Two Times" went viral on YouTube.

Toes in the Sand—This tiny flip-flop charm with aqua enamel detailing and Swarovski Pure Brilliance Zirconia embellishment is a tribute to easygoing summer days (MSRP $40).

Anchors Away—This playful charm features an ocean buoy with navy stripes of enamel detailing and a tiny hanging anchor (MSRP $40).

Shoot for the Moon—This Clear Swarovski Crystal and star embellished rocket with light blue enamel detailing and one Red Swarovski Crystal at its base is reminiscent of Fourth of July fun (MSRP $40).

Life’s a Beach—This sterling silver beach ball charm with navy, aqua and bright yellow enamel belongs beachside (MSRP $35).

Oasis—This charm features an enamel interpretation of palm trees, sun and water on one side, and a bright sun with seven Jonquil Swarovski Crystals at its center on the other (MSRP $40).

Starfish—This sterling silver starfish charm with intricate millegrain detailing recalls the enchantment of summer (MSRP $35).

Ocean Sounds—This highly polished conch charm is embellished with eight Light Amethyst Swarovski Crystals along its edge (MSRP $40).

Starlet Shades—This adorable charm representation of sunglasses with black rhodium plated lenses evokes summer glamour (MSRP $40).

Los Angeles Fashion Market Week June 2014

The Fall / Holiday Los Angeles Fashion Market will take place from Sunday - Wednesday, June, 8-11, 2014, at the California Market Center (CMC) on 9th and Main in Downtown LA. Show hours are from 9a-6p daily.
