Edgar's hands possessed an extraordinary magic that spun fabrics into tales of elegance and sophistication. His workshop, tucked away in a quaint corner, was a sanctuary of creativity.

One fateful year, Edgar poured his heart and soul into a collection destined for the grandest stage: Fashion Week. He drew inspiration from nature's symphony, blending the vibrant hues of the seasons and the grace of falling leaves. His designs bore the essence of an autumnal kaleidoscope—rich, warm tones that danced with the wind.

Off the Record Fashion Event October 2016

Off the Record, an exclusive fashion and music event, is set to return to Nashville on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at The Factory at Franklin.  Off The Record showcases collections from well-known, international designers and performances from top musicians. 

Last year's event featured a world-class runway set production, a high energy fashion show featuring collections from designers including Gucci, KaufmanFranco, John Varvatos, Johnathan Kayne and Amanda Valentine with professional models and stylists from around the country.  The evening also included musical performances by artists The Cadillac Three, Maren Morris, Old Dominion, Phil Vassar and Tommy Shaw of Styx.  

"The response from last year's event was phenomenal," said event producer and President of Neste Event Marketing, Gil Cunningham.  "We are thrilled to continue building on this excitement. No one else is doing an event like this, and it makes perfect sense to have it originate in Nashville."

This exclusive event will begin with a Cocktail Reception with red carpet arrivals, special musical performances and an intimate viewing of the designers' fashion lines prior to the Fashion Show.  

The 2016 lineup of designers and performances will be announced in the months ahead.

Hosiery at Bibhu Mohapatra Fall 2016 Runway Show

Hosiery returns to the runway and this year Hanes Hosiery has designed exclusive styles, which were seen on the runway at the Bibhu Mohapatra Fall 2016 Runway Show held at The Dock Skylight Moynihan Station on February 17^th at 1pm.

The Hanes Hosiery collection on the runway featured the Silk Reflections Ultra Sheer Tights and the exclusive Illusion Tights with architectural illusion cut outs that shape and sculpt the leg to create a new take on modern perfection. Hanes exclusive designs for the show reflects Bibhu’s inspiration of the haunting enigma of the Dragon Lady and celebrates the prowess and poise of the female mind.

  

This is the second collaboration between Hanes Hosiery and Bibhu Mohapatra and this season’s partnership stems from the growing legwear category and the footprint hosiery has created in the luxury fashion industry. Partnering to create a timeless look suitable for the runway and for every day, Hanes Hosiery styles have become a staple in every woman’s wardrobe.

Off The Record Fashion Show

 On the heels of New York Fashion Week in Manhattan, Nashville is gearing up for its own night of high fashion taking place Sunday, November 1, 2015 at Off The Record, with the first round of musical guests and performers for the event being unveiled last week. The Tennessean broke the news, announcing a performance lineup that includes Big Kenny Alphin of Big & Rich, Chase Bryant, Kaleo, Old Dominion, The Cadillac Three and Phil Vassar. Brooke Eden will be appearing at the event, and Florida Georgia Line’s Brian Kelley and his wife Brittney will showcase designs from their Tribe Kelley line.

Off The Record is a night of fashion and entertainment celebrating the elite talent and designs Music City has to offer. Many designers from around the world are flying in for front row seats to see fresh new looks from KaufmanFranco, Graziela, Johnathan Kayne, and Spinelli Kilcollin, to name a few. The runway will also feature styles by Eric Adler, Ani&Ari, Cole Haan, Tribe Kelley, The Giving Keys, hatWRKS, and Amanda Valentine.

In an interview with The Tennessean, show director and celebrity designer Christiev Alphin noted that “music and fashion create a natural gathering ground,” and that the fashion show’s team is “bringing in all of the big guns” from the fashion world.

Off The Record is produced by award winning firm, Neste Event Marketing. The Nashville-based company, co-owned by husband and wife Gil and Liz Cunningham, produces concerts for corporate events and festivals throughout North America and has won two Academy of Country Music awards and six IEBA awards.

"EntertainmentBuy and Neste Event Marketing have been involved in producing events on various scales from hundreds of people to hundreds of thousands of people for over 25 years, but rarely do we ever have the opportunity of producing events in Nashville,” noted Gil Cunningham. “We’re excited to bring a unique experience back home to Nashville; this will be an experience you won’t want to miss.”

"Nashville is as hot as you could get and the fashion industry recognizes it,” Liz Cunningham said. “Nashville is the style leader of the south both musically and in fashion.”

With that in mind, the fashion and music industries will come together for this event on the Sunday before the Country Music Association Awards to raise money for Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee and celebrate the fashion and music that Nashville has to offer.
